Center for the Creative Arts (CCArts) strives to make the arts accessible to as many people as possible, because we believe that the arts are essential for human development and healing, academic success, and for enriching our culture as a whole.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 so that we continue creating and maintaining programming for the community which is affordable and attainable, ultimately bridging the gap in accessible arts programming in the region.

Come as you are for our monthly Queer Art Night for all ages! Join us for a free night of art, crafting and community. Feel free to come alone or bring along your family and friends! Bring your own materials and work on a project of your choosing or pick from a collection of materials we'll have on hand. While the event is free, please register as space is limited.

This month we are excited to partner with the Queer Art Collective to bring a free art supply swap to the event! Bring in any unwanted art supplies and find some new art supplies up for grabs in this free community event.

Come as you are for the TEEN edition of our monthly “Queer Art Nights”, a free night of art, crafting, & community, designed specifically for teens 13 - 17.

Join us for an evening of the spoken word, featuring essays performed by local writers alongside sound and percussion by Bryan Tuk at Dew Point Brewing.

Each contribution made during the event will help provide scholarships for young artists attending our 2026 Visual and Performing Arts Summer Camp.

The Market at CCArts will feature a variety of fine handmade products from local vendors,  accompanied by a bake sale and a food truck.

Join us the 1st Sunday of October as the community gathers together in support of local artists and vendors on the CCArts field.

This full day festival-style concert will feature a diverse range of local musical talent playing their own original songs as well as covers. All ages are welcome to join us for this fun event.

All proceeds from event ticket sales will benefit CCArts! Tickets can only be purchased day of the event, at the door.

Final Week of CCArts Summer Camp! Week 10 will run from Monday, August 18th through Friday, August 22nd.

Week 9 will run from Monday, August 11th through Friday, August 15th.

Week 8 will run from Monday, August 4th through Friday, August 8th.

Camp Arts for All in Sign, Delaware’s only visual arts focused camp taught primarily in sign language for children who are Deaf or hard of hearing, will take place from Monday, July 28th through Friday, August 1st.

Week 7 will run from Monday, July 28th through Friday, August 1st.

Week 6 will run from Monday, July 21st through Friday, July 25th.

Week 5 will run from Monday, July 14th through Friday, July 18th.

Week 4 of CCArts Summer Camp begins today!

Week 3 will run from Monday, June 30th through Thursday, July 3rd. There will be no camp on Friday, July 4th.

Week 2 of CCArts Visual and Performing Arts Summer Camp Begins Today!

Week 2 of camp runs from Monday, June 23rd and Friday, June 27th.

CCArts will be closed for camps and classes all day today, Thursday June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

The building will reopen for our regularly scheduled hours, tomorrow Friday June 20th.

Week 1 of CCArts Visual and Performing Arts Summer Camp Begins Today

Week 1 of camp will run from Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 20th. There will be no camp on Thursday, June 19th.

The SECOND of our 2025 Markets at CCArts is TODAY June 1st, from 11AM - 3PM. This outdoor market will feature fine handmade products from local vendors as well as a bake sale, a “make and take” art activity led by jewelry artist Sharon Livesay, and the “Zaikka on Wheels” food truck.

The CCArts building will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 26th, 2025. All classes, workshops, and open studios will be closed on this day as well.

The CCArts building will reopen for regular weekday hours at 9AM the next day, Tuesday, May 27th, 2025.
