Camp Arts for All in Sign
JULY 20 2026 - JULY 24 2026
Delaware’s ONLY visual & performing arts camp for Deaf children and children with hearing loss.
Camp Arts for All in Sign was created in efforts to provide children with an accepting and empowering space where they can learn new artistic skills, ways of expressing themselves, and build confidence and self-awareness.
Campers will be able to connect with other children who are Deaf or have hearing loss like them, and will most importantly have fun! They will have the opportunity to create works of visual arts that will center their perspectives and experiences in a safe and accessible environment, exploring artistic techniques and mediums such as mixed media, painting, ceramics, fiber arts, sculpture, and more!
UPDATE - MEET OUR NEW TEACHING ARTIST!
Daniel Katz-Hernandez
Daniel Katz-Hernandez is a Maryland-based Deaf multiracial artist working in interdisciplinary installations. His practice combines drawing, painting, sculpture, electronics, animation, and projection to explore how language, especially American Sign Language, shifts across bodies and media.
He earned an MFA from MICA in 2025 and coordinates the Deaf Artists Residency Program at Anderson Center at Tower View in Red Wing, Minnesota, held biannually. He is especially excited about being an inaugural member of the cohort for Deaf Arts Leadership Pilot Program.
Currently, he is working on mixed media projects at Red Dirt Studio in Mount Rainier, Maryland.
