ASSISTANT CAMP DIRECTORs

CCArts seeks two assistant camp directors (AM & PM) for the upcoming summer camp semester, which begins on June 10, 2024. These positions will support the camp director in ensuring that CCArts runs smoothly and that all campers have a safe and fun summer.

Assistant camp directors will uphold CCArts’ values of acceptance, collective success, and creative expression building an inclusive and welcoming environment for all campers. The ideal candidates will be collaborative, organized project managers with experience working with young people and artistic experience.

Teaching Artists

CCArts seeks teaching artists in the following areas:

  • Youth Visual Arts Teaching Artist

  • Pottery Teaching Artist (preferably with experience in wheel throwing, studio maintenance, kiln firing, & glaze mixing)

    We are in search of teaching artists passionate about making the arts accessible to all. CCArts offers a wide variety of visual and performing arts classes for youth and adult students 6 days a week year round. Passion for the arts and a commitment to inclusion and anti-racism are essential.

    Starting Hourly Rate: $20-30/hr

EVENT Monitor

CCArts seeks individuals to serve as facility monitors for special events and rentals. Candidates should be friendly, detail-oriented, customer service driven, and able to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Pay is $15/hr. Job duties include:

  • Opening the facility and disarming the alarm system

  • Working with clients/renters to assure basic needs are being met with space setup

  • Moving tables/chairs/stools

  • Using our sound system to assist renters with iPod/Phone to play music

  • Removing trash

  • Monitoring of common areas and restocking of basic supplies like trash bags and toiletries

  • Cleaning up the space after use

  • Locking and arming the building
