    Love to act, but lack the confidence of performing? Build your self-confidence and acting technique by learning acting basics through scene studies and constructing monologues. Students will learn how to develop characterizations, improvise on the scene, interact with other actions, as well as develop insight, and stage movement. In the process students will learn how to do cold readings, refine auditioning skills, construct a resume, and learn more about community theater opportunities and venues.     This fall, the Saturday Children's Theatre group will be performing the Princess and the Pea. The story revolves around the search for a true princess for Prince Peter. The kingdom can remain free only as long as there is a Royal King and Queen on the throne, but only a "true princess" can pass the test, marry the Prince and succeed to the throne.   • Enchanted Fairy Fest Family Workshop

    Enchanted Fairie Festival at Gateway Garden Center is a magical display of homes created for enchanted creatures. The Center for the Creative Arts will be hosting a workshop for families to build enchanted dwellings and miniature gardens at CCArts in Yorklyn, on Saturday September 13th from 12:00-3:00pm. After construction is complete, you may drop off your creation at Gateway Garden Center to be displayed on September 21st from 10:00am-4:00pm. The Center for the Creative Arts will be featured participant within the display at Gateway Garden Center. Rain date for the Enchanted Fairie Festival at Gateway Garden Center is September 28th.
