Children's Theater at CCArts presents: The Baseball Show
Course Number:
Ages: 6-14 years
Get that baseball feeling! As our umpire says. This play's about baseball. Real baseball. The game of baseball, not the business. All you need for real baseball is a bat, a ball, a backyard, maybe a vacant lot. And the feeling that today's the day! For a home run, for stealing second, then sliding right under the catcher's glove to score the winning run. The feeling that anything's possible...That baseball feeling. Twelve or more girls and boys will play our hometown heroes in this classically American tale. There will be a mandatory dress rehearsal Friday, June 7, 6-9pm. Weekly Saturday rehearsals conclude with a full length, ticketed matinee show on Saturday, June 8th at 2 PM in which every actor will play an important role. Additional rehearsals may be added at the director’s discretion. Performance: June 8, 2 PM
