Spring Break Art Camp

Take an imaginary trip around the world with two of your favorite summer camp teachers, Kristen Margiotta and Jennifer Domal. Visit a diffrent country each day of the week, making cultural and historical connections along the way. Explore customs and create unique art in the tradition of each country using a variety of media. Spend half the day making inspired pottery and the other half creating other traditional artforms. Last years' travelers created miniature skeletal figures in honor of Mexico's Dia de Los Muertos traditions and Impressionist artwork inspired by French masters. Your 2012 itinerary: Monday, Spain; Tuesday, the United States; Wednesday, Africa; Thursday, Italy; Friday, Asia. Travelers who plan to take the entire trip will enjoy a discounted fare, or you may customize your creative stay-cation for as many days as you like. A minimum number of students must be registered by March 12 to ensure the success of Spring Break Art Camp. Supervised Lunch Care provided. Please bring your own lunch. Ages: 1st-5th graders
