In Memoriam: Phyllis Moltenbrey

It is with much sadness that we inform you that a wonderful supporter of our organization, Phyllis Moltenbrey, has passed away. Phyllis was associated with CCArts from its inception in 1979 and played an important role in helping to establish and sustain our Center. Throughout the years, she held all offices of the Board of Directors and was an active member of the Board of Trustees. Along with being involved in the administrative aspects of the CCA, Phyllis taught silk flower arranging and managed the Yorklyn Valley Antiques Fair sponsored by CCA for eighteen years.

A viewing will be held this Wednesday, January 21 at Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin,DE from 1:00-3:00 pm and farewell memories will be shared from 3:00-4:00 pm.

The funeral will be on Saturday, January 24 at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, Broad Street, Westfield MA, with a viewing from 12:00-2:00 pm, service 2:00-3:00 pm and burial immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Phyllis asked that donations be made to our organization; Center for the Creative Arts, PO Box 146, 410 Upper Snuff Mill Row, Yorklyn DE 19736.
